DCappella Dishes About Their Self-Titled Album

DCappella is Disney Music Group’s new a cappella singing sensation. The group came together as a result of a nationwide search for the best vocal performing talent in a cappella and stage. Recently announcing their debut album, they embark on their first North American tour. The tour features a contemporary production of new Deke Sharon arrangements of Disney classic and modern hits, bringing to life a truly unique a cappella experience. ** As Captioned Live **

>>> OH, HELLO, WORLD. WHAT'S UP? WELCOME TO BUILD. WE ARE HERE LIVE AT THE BUILD STUDIO IN NEW YORK CITY. OUR LAST GUESTS CAME TOGETHER AFTER AN EXHAUSTIVE NATIONWIDE SEARCH FOR THE BEST VOCAL PERFORMING TALENT IN A CAPPELLA AND STAGE. THEY ARE STOPPING BY BUILD AS THEY PREPARE FOR THEIR FIRST NORTH AMERICAN TOUR. NOT ONLY DO WE GET TO HANG OUT AND CHAT BUT THOSE WATCHING AT HOME, STICK AROUND AFTER THE AUDIENCE Q&A. THEY WILL BE PERFORMING LIVE AS WELL. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER AND MAKE A RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF NOISE. DCAPELLA IS RIGHT HERE. DO IT UP. [ APPLAUSE ]

>> WHOO INDEED. GUYS, CONGRATULATIONS. I SAID IT BACKSTAGE AND I WILL SAY IT AGAIN. THE NEW RECORD IS PHENOMENAL. YOU SHOULD BE VERY PROUD, VERY EXCITED. HOW IS EVERYBODY FEELING NOW? EVERYBODY TALK AT ONCE IMMEDIATELY INTO YOUR MICROPHONES. [ ALL SPEAKING AT ONCE ]

>> YOU GUYS CAN'T HELP BUT MAKE MUSIC. THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL.

>> IN PERFECT TUNE.

>> YOU NAILED IT. ABSOLUTELY NAILED IT. NO, BUT SERIOUSLY, I GENUINELY LOVE THIS RECORD. I THOUGHT YOU GUYS DID A FANTASTIC JOB. I'M EXCITED TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT IT. A HUGE WEEK. HOLIDAYS COMING UP. IT'S GREAT YOU'RE TAKING TIME TO HANG OUT WITH US. CONGRATS. LET'S GET INTO THIS RECORD. WHAT TOOK LONGER -- REHEARSING AND LEARNING THE SONGS OR RECORDING THEM.

>> WHEN WE FIRST GOT TOGETHER WE RECORDED 13 SONGS IN EIGHT DAYS.

>> WOW.

>> PRETTY MUCH RIGHT WHEN WE MET WE WERE LIKE, HI, I'M ANTONIO. [ BEAT BOXING ]

>> WE WERE STILL LEARNING THE SONG WHILE WE WERE RECORDING THEM. WE REALLY DIDN'T HAVE OUR SOUND PER SE JUST YET. WE HAD WALKED THROUGH THE DOOR LITERALLY. THEY SAID YOU'VE GOT THE JOB, MAKE AN ALBUM.

>> GET IN THE BOOTH.

>> WHAT A GREAT PROBLEM TO HAVE.

>> EXACTLY. NOT COMPLAINING.

>> NOT AT ALL. THAT BEGS THE QUESTION THEN. DO YOU GUYS ALL UNIVERSALLY AGREE? WE CAN GO AROUND AND FIGURE THIS OUT. ON THE MOMENT THAT YOU FOUND IT YOU FELT LIKE, OH, WE'RE A BAND. THIS IS HAPPENING. IT HAPPENED FAST. IT WAS OVERWHELMING. IS THERE A MOMENT IN TIME?

>> WHEN WE WERE REHEARSING WE SANG "THE GLORY DAYS" FROM "THE INCREDIBLES 2" SOUND TRACK. WE HAVE FOUR SONGS ON THAT DIGITAL RELEASE. IT WAS THE FIRST TIME WE HAD IN-EARS IN. WE WERE SINGING IN MICS. IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE.

>> ALL OF THE GIRLS CRIED.

>> INSTANTANEOUSLY. IT WAS SPECIAL.

>> SO FUNNY YOU MENTION CRYING. THE TRACK LIST IS RIDICULOUS. THERE'S NEW STUFF, CLASSIC STUFF. HOW MANY TAKES DID YOU LOSE ON "REMEMBER ME" BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T STOP CRYING? I WAS LISTENING TO THE TRACK LIKE I DON'T KNOW HOW ANYBODY MAKES IT THROUGH. THAT'S ONE OF YOUR FAVORITES. LET'S PICK FAVORITES.

>> MY FAVORITE IS PART OF "YOUR WHOLE NEW WORLD" WHICH IS A MASH-UP BETWEEN "PART OF YOUR WORLD" AND "A WHOLE NEW WORLD." WE'LL HAVE QUITE A FEW MASH-UPS ON THE SHOW. IT'S COOL, YOU KNOW, TO SEE HOW THE SONGS COME TOGETHER AND HOW WE CAN MAKE IT SOUND LIKE A COMPLETELY NEW SONG. THAT SOUNDS FAMILIAR TO US IN SOME WAY.

>> TOTALLY. I WANT TO GET TO YOURS IN A SECOND. WE ARE GOING AROUND. WITHOUT GIVING ANYTHING AWAY ARE THERE MASH-UPS NOT ON THE RECORD LIKE SURPRISE MASH-UPS?

>> SECRETS.

>> FAIR ENOUGH. KEEP GOING. FAVORITE TRACK.

>> "I WANT TO BE LIKE YOU" FROM THE JUNGLE BOOK. MAYBE YOU'LL HEAR IT LATER.

>> FINGERS CROSSED.

>> I DO ENJOY "REMEMBER ME." THAT'S BEAUTIFUL. MY ULTIMATE FAVORITE ON THE SOUND TRACK IS THE OTHER MASH-UP WE HAVE. "LET IT GO," SLASH, "DO YOU WANT TO BUILD A SNOWMAN." WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT THEY WOULD GO TOGETHER FROM THE SAME MOVIE? THEY BLEND SO WELL AND THE BUILD OF THE SONG GIVES ME THE CHILLS.

>> IT BREATHES NEW LIFE INTO "LET IT GO" WHICH IS A GREAT SONG BUT A SONG WE HAVE ALL HEARD.

>> A MILLION TIMES. EXACTLY.

>> IT'S GREAT TO HEAR A NEW TAKE ON IT.

>> IT'S NICE TO MAKE IT FRESH AGAIN.

>> ABSOLUTELY. BEFORE WE GET TO YOUR FAVORITE ON THE END, WHEN YOU WERE LEARNING THESE SONGS AND DOING THE LIST WERE YOU EVER NOT DOUBTFUL BUT SKEPTICAL OF ARE THESE SONGS GOING TO MIX?

>> NO.

>> THAT'S THE RIGHT ANSWER.

>> EVERYBODY FEELS DIFFERENTLY ABOUT THIS.

>> OUR ARRANGER, PRODUCER, DIRECTOR IS FANTASTIC. HE'S SO GOOD AT HIS CRAFT. I HAD ZERO FEAR THAT IT WAS GOING TO WORK OUT.

>> ACROSS THE BOARD THROUGHOUT THE ALBUM, THE FIRST TIME WE HEARD ARRANGEMENTS TOGETHER WITH SEVEN VOICES IN THE ROOM IT WAS LIKE, WOW, IT WORKS. IT WAS DIFFERENT FROM HEARING THE PITCH.

>> I WILL SAY AS MUCH FAITH AS WE HAVE IN DEKE, HE PUSHES US THE MOST. WE GET ARRANGEMENTS SOMETIMES AND WE GO, YOU WANT ME TO DO WHAT? SINGING NOTES UP TO THE HIGH HEAVENS OR WHATEVER THE CASE MAY BE. MAKING CRAZY NOISES AND SOMEHOW, SOME WAY WE FIGURE IT OUT AND MAKE IT HAPPEN. I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT.

>> IN WORKING WITH DEKE, BECAUSE YOU ALL HAVE TONS OF AMAZING EXPERIENCE PRIOR TO COMING TOGETHER AS DCAPELLA. IS IT A COLLABORATION? HE'S PUSHING YOU GUYS. NOT PUSH BACK BUT DO YOU GIVE IDEAS TO MAKE IT SOUND LIKE YOUR OWN VOICE AND STUFF?

>> SOMETHING I LOVE ABOUT DEKE IS HE SAID I WANT YOU TO SOUND LIKE YOU, LIKE NO ONE ELSE. THEY WANT US TO BE OUR TRUE AUTHENTIC SELVES.

>> THEY WANT OUR PERSONALITIES TO SHINE. THEY WANT US TO BE DIFFERENT.

>> HE'S GREAT AT CRAFTING OUR UNIQUE ABILITIES IN WHICH IS SMART.

>> TO THAT END, THESHOWING. LET'S GO BACK. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE TRACK?

>> PROBABLY "YOU'LL BE IN MY HEART." DEKE IS AMAZING. I DIDN'T KNOW HOW THINGS WOULD SOUND BECAUSE THE PROCESS WAS SO CONDENSED AND EVERYTHING WAS HAPPENING QUICKLY. I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT THE FINAL PRODUCT WOULD SOUND LIKE. THAT PARTICULAR SONG IS SO SOULFUL AND HIS INTERPRETATION AND ARRANGEMENT IS SUCH A CONTRAST FROM THE ORIGINAL. IT'S LIKE MORE BOYZ 2 MEN, DOO-WOP, R & B. SO WE WERE ABLE TO EXIST IN A SPACE THAT WAS VERY AUTHENTIC TO WHO WE ARE. THE ALBUM ITSELF IS SO VERSATILE TO ME THAT'S A STAND-OUT BECAUSE IT'S A CONTRAST OF THE TRACK BEFORE AND AFTER IT.

>> YOU GUYS COULD PICK ANY TRACK. I LOVE IT. I'M THE GUY WEARING THE DONALD DUCK SWEATER. THIS IS IN MY WHEELHOUSE. LET'S KEEP GOING. WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE?

>> MINE KEEPS ON SWITCHING HONESTLY. I HAVE TO SAY THE SAME. "YOU'LL BE IN MY HEART." OUR TAKE IS SO DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER VERSION I HEARD BEFORE. IT'S SOMETHING YOU CAN HEAR ON REPEAT. I HEARD HIM LISTENING TO IT ON REPEAT. EACH TIME IT WAS BETTER AND BETTER. ONE OF THOSE THINGS YOU CAN'T GET TIRED OF.

>> YOU TOUCHED ON THIS IN YOUR RESPONSE. WHEN YOU HEAR ANYTHING IT'S THE FIRST TIME YOU ARE HEARING THE SONG IN THAT WAY AND EXPERIENCE IT. IT'S A HUGE MOMENT FOR YOU WHEN YOU HEARD IT FOR THE FIRST TIME.

>> WHEN THE CD CAME OUT AND WE GOT OUR COPIES I PUT IT IN THE CAR. THAT'S WHERE I LISTEN TO MOST OF MY MUSIC. I LIVE IN LOS ANGELES, SO I'M IN THE CAR MOST OF THE TIME. I CRANKED IT UP. I REMEMBER BEING LIKE, THESE ARE MY FRIENDS, THIS IS CRAZY! EVERYONE SOUNDS AMAZING. YOU KNOW, YOU'RE USED TO HEARING BEYONCE OR LADY GAGA ON THE RADIO, NOT MY BEST FRIENDS. IT'S CRAZY.

>> I WANT TO COLLECT THEM ALL HERE POKEMON STYLE. MAKE SURE WE GET ALL OF THEM.

>> YOU STOLE MY ANSWER. "YOU'LL BE IN MY HEART" IS SUCH A THROWBACK AND THE ARRANGEMENT IS INSANE. IT'S HAUNTING AND FOUR-PART. I LOVE BEING A PART OF IT.

>> HAUNTING IS A GREAT WORD FOR IT.

>> TEARS.

>> I SAW IT LIKE, OH, NO.

>> WE'LL COME BACK TO THAT ONE.

>> I DO GO BACK TO IT. MAN, THAT SONG, WELL, YOU CRIED THROUGH THAT ONE, TOO. DID I GET YOUR FAVORITE?

>> YOU'RE SPEAKING OF REMEMBER ME AND CRYING. BUT "WHEN SHE LOVED ME" FROM TOY STORY 2. EVERYBODY REMEMBERS THE SCENE WHERE JESSE IS GIVEN UP BY HER ORIGINAL OWNER AND EVERYBODY IS CRYING THEIR EYES OUT. IT'S A BEAUTIFUL FOUR-PART HARMONY WITH A DISSIDENT HARMONY. WE DO A GREAT JOB ON THAT SONG.

>> YOU'RE CORRECT ON THAT. THE ASSESSMENT THAT YOU DO A GREAT JOB.

>> HERE'S THE PART I'M CURIOUS ABOUT. YOU ESTABLISHED THAT YOU DID IT. EIGHT DAYS. SO I IMAGINE YOU'RE SEEING THINGS LIVE. YOU'RE COMFORTABLE WITH THAT AND YOU HAVE A HUGE TOUR COMING UP. YOU HAVE TO BRING IT TO THE STAGE. THE CHOREOGRAPHY. HOW IS THAT GOING? THAT'S A GRUELLING PROCESS.

>> HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED REHEARSING YET.

>> IT'S COMING.

>> OH, MY GOSH.

>> WE'RE GOING TO IMPROV IT ALL ON STAGE.

>> FROM ME, A LOT OF JAZZ HANDS. SO ARE YOU AT ALL NERVOUS ABOUT THAT? YOU'VE GOTTEN TO A POINT AND YOU'RE SINGING SONGS OVER AND OVER AGAIN, THEY'RE SECOND NATURE AND NOW YOU HAVE TO LAYER THE PHYSICALITY ON TOP. DO YOU HAVE A STRATEGY GOING IN?

>> WELL, NO. BUT I DON'T WANT TO SAY I'M NERVOUS, BUT I AM. WE HAVE 15 OTHER SONGS WE HAVEN'T LEARNED YET, LET ALONE THE CHOREOGRAPHY TO THE OTHER 15. IT WILL BE FUN. I LOVE REHEARSAL PROCESSES. IT WILL BE A LOT MORE FUN WITH THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE I LIKE THEM A LOT.

>> I'M NOT NERVOUS. LET ME TELL YOU THIS. I FEEL LIKE SINCE WE HAVE COME TOGETHER LITERALLY EVERYTHING THAT WE HAVE DONE HAS PREPARED US TO BE ABLE TO PRODUCE A SHOW LIKE THIS. WE ONLY HAVE THIS WINDOW OF TIME. MAKE IT MUSICAL, GIVE IT EMOTION. INTERNALIZE IT AGAIN AND MAKE IT SOMETHING WE CAN ALL BE A PART OF. AND EVERY TIME WE EXCEL. SO I'M NOT NERVOUS. I THINK WE ARE ALL FULLY CAPABLE. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE BEEN IN AN ENSEMBLE WITH A GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS WHO I FEEL LIKE ARE NOT ONLY TALENTED AND PROFESSIONAL, BUT FULLY CAPABLE OF DOING EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED TO GET DONE. I NEVER WALK IN THE ROOM FEELING LIKE, OH, GOD, I DON'T KNOW HOW WE ARE GOING TO DO THIS. BUT HOW QUICKLY ARE WE GOING TO TURN IT AROUND AND BEAT THE RECORD FROM LAST TIME.

>> EVER SINCE THE PROJECT STARTED IT WAS LIKE, WHAT CAN WE DO WITH A COUPLE OF HOURS OF WHAT'S THROWN AT US IN THE MOMENT. "THE INCREDIBLES 2" SOUNDTRACK, THE ARRANGEMENTS WERE INSANE. DEKE WAS LIKE, HOW MUCH CAN I CHALLENGE YOU? WE ROSE TO THE OCCASION.

>> ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS YOU DID OFFICIALLY ON A RECORD, I'M PRETTY SURE --

>> YEAH.

>> OTHER THAN THE SINGLES.

>> YEAH.

>> WE DIDN'T KNOW THEY WOULD BE PICKED UP. THAT WAS AMAZING.

>> WE HAD MAYBE A WEEK BECAUSE THEY WERE WORKING SO DILIGENTLY. WE HAD A WEEK TO GET THOSE DONE. WE NAILED IT. WE WERE NERVOUS, BUT WE NAILED IT. THAT HELPS BUILD OUR CONFIDENCE AS A UNIT. WE BOND THE WAY WE DID ON STAGE.

>> WE HAVE A GOOD SUPPORT GROUP OF PEOPLE RUNNING THE PROJECT WHO ARE TAKING CARE OF US LIKE LAURA, LISA, CHARLIE.

>> WE COULDN'T DO IT WITHOUT OUR PEOPLE BEHIND THE SCENES.

>> SO WE HAVE PEOPLE TAKING CARE OF US.

>> I'M GETTING THE SIGNALS THAT WE'RE TAKING AUDIENCE QUESTIONS IN A SECOND. AS WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE TIME CONSTRAINTS AND YOU'RE UNDER PRESSURE AND YOU HAVE TO DO IT QUICKLY IN THE STUDIO. I ASSUME YOU'RE RECORDING LIVE. DO YOU EVER GET 20 SECONDS FROM THE END OF THE SONG AND ONE PERSON MESSES SOMETHING UP AND YOU'VE GOT TO EITHER START ALL OVER AGAIN OR GO, THAT'S HOW THE SONG GOES NOW?

>> I DON'T THINK WE HAVE EVER MESSED UP ONE TIME.

>> DID SOMEBODY KNOCK ON WOOD?

>> I'M USUALLY THE ONE THAT'S LIKE, OH.

>> IF ONLY THAT WERE THE CASE.

>> WE KEEP GOING.

>> JUST KEEP GOING.

>> AS LONG AS THE AUDIENCE HAS NO IDEA. A LOT OF TIMES WE'RE IN OUR OWN HEADS. WE'RE PERFECTIONISTS AND LIKE, OH, I WAS OFF THERE OR THAT DIDN'T GO RIGHT. IT'S JUST CONNECTING WITH PEOPLE.

>> THE AUDIENCES WILL BE FORGIVING OF THAT. ESPECIALLY SINCE THE RECORD JUST CAME OUT AND WE'RE EXCITED TO SEE IT. WHEN YOU'RE IN THE STUDIO YOU ARE HEARING YOURSELF. AT THAT POINT THE ONLY AUDIENCE YOU HAVE IS THE AUDIENCE INSIDE OF YOU. DOES THAT MAKE IT MORE CHALLENGING?

>> IT'S INTERESTING. WHEN WE WERE IN THE STUDIO, WE WERE ACTUALLY RECORDING SEPARATELY. WE HAD NEVER SUNG THE SONG TOGETHER. WE SANG IT FIRST BY OURSELVES.

>> WE HAD NO IDEA HOW IT WOULD SOUND ON TOP OF ONE ANOTHER.

>> BASED OFF OUR OWN CREATIVITY TO CREATE THE SONG AND VERSION OF IT WITH DEKE IN STUDIO WITH US TO BUILD.

>> THAT MAKES THE RECORD MORE IMPRESSIVE. THE IDEA THAT YOU WENT IN, THAT'S SO COOL. YOU'RE ALL SO LOCKED IN. WELL DONE. YOU HAVE MADE SOMETHING SPECIAL THERE. WE'LL TURN IT OVER TO THE AUDIENCE. FIRST, THE RECORD IS OUT NOW. IF YOU HAVEN'T LISTENED, GET A COPY AND LISTEN TO IT. THE TOUR KICKS OFF JANUARY 22. JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA. THAT WILL BE FUN. DCAPELLA LIVE.COM/TOUR FOR TICKETS. DO IT UP. FIRST OF ALL, I WANT TO SAY WHAT YOU ALL DO IS TRULY AMAZING.

>> THANK YOU.

>> FIRST, YOUR VOICE IS ESSENTIALLY YOUR INSTRUMENT. SO I WANT TO KNOW HOW YOU CONTROL YOUR BREATH. UNLESS YOU HAVE IRON LUNGS. HOW ARE YOU ABLE TO PERFORM AND SUSTAIN YOUR VOICE AND BREATH CONTROL?

>> WE'VE GOTTEN ACCUSTOMED TO WORKING OUT TOGETHER AS A GROUP. WE DID SQUATS SINGING THROUGH THE SONG THE OTHER DAY. A COUPLE OF US HAVE BEEN RUNNING ON TREADMILLS AND SINGING SONGS THROUGH. IT'S A LOT OF BREATH SUPPORT EXERCISES.

>> IT'S CONSTANT. YOU CONSTANTLY HAVE TO WORK AT IT. WE HOLD EACH OTHER IN SUPPORT OF THAT OF MAKING SURE BETWEEN SONGS THAT WE ARE GIVING EACH OTHER ENOUGH TIME TO CATCH OUR BREATH, GET SOME WATER. IT'S DIFFICULT.

>> SOMETIMES WHEN YOU NEED TO TAKE A BREATH, JUST TAKE A BREATH.

>> HONESTLY. WE STAGGER BREATHE THROUGHOUT. SO LITTLE BREATHS IN BETWEEN NOTES.

>> THAT'S WHAT WE ARE LEARNING. JUST STAGGER BREATHING AND TAKING IT WHEN YOU NEED IT.

>> ALSO THE PHRASE FORM AND DYNAMIC RANGE. IF SOMETHING'S GOING LOUD DON'T TAKE A BREATH. BUT RIGHT BEFORE WHEN YOU CAN SNEAK IT WHEN YOU KNOW SOMEONE WILL TAKE A BREATH LATER, WORKING AS A TEAM, THAT WAY TOGETHER IT SOUNDS LIKE IT'S JUST GOING AND GOING. HOW IS THAT HAPPENING? IT'S WORKING AS A TEAM AND UNDERSTANDING YOUR VOICE, YOUR LIMITATIONS AND KNOWING HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE TO THE SOUND TO MAKE YOURSELF HAVE STAMINA THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PERFORMANCE.

>> THANK YOU SO MUCH.

>> SO FREAKING COOL. WE HAVE TIME FOR MORE. NEXT QUESTION, COME ON DOWN.

>> I'M SO EXCITED TO HEAR YOU ALL SING. I WAS WONDERING BEFORE PERFORMING LIVE DO YOU HAVE A RITUAL OR A TRADITION?

>> WE PRAY.

>> WE PRAY. I PUT IT IN THE CONTRACT. WE CAN MOVE ON STAGE WITHOUT CENTERING OURSELVES. A LOT OF TIMES WE ARE IN OUR HEADS. WE FORGET THAT THE PURPOSE OF WHAT WE ARE DOING IS TRYING TO CONNECT. WE HAVE BEEN BLESSED AND FORTUNATE TO LIVE OUT WHAT WE DO AND BE FULFILLED BY THAT. SOMETIMES WE ARE CAUGHT UP IN THE SPECIFIC. JUST FIVE SECONDS. LET'S GET CENTERED, HAVE A MOMENT FOR JUST US TO DO WHAT WE NEED TO DO AND BE FREE IN THAT SPACE.

>> IT'S EASY TO GET WRAPPED UP IN PRODUCT-ORIENTED THINKING LIKE I HAVE TO SOUND A CERTAIN WAY. I HAVE TO GO A CERTAIN WAY. IF YOU PUT IT BACK TO THE GIANT PERSPECTIVE OF THINGS WE ALL CAME TO MUSIC BECAUSE WE FOUND OURSELVES IN IT. I FEEL LIKE IF WE CENTER IN ON THAT BEFORE WE GO OUT ON STAGE WE SOUND OUR BEST.

>> WE'RE GOING TO DO ONE MORE. COME ON DOWN. WE'LL DO OUR FINAL QUESTION.

>> THIS IS AN ONLINE QUESTION FROM SAMANTHA. SHE ASKS AS A MUSICAL GROUP, WHAT DO YOU WANT YOUR AUDIENCE TO TAKE AWAY FROM YOUR MUSIC?

>> A LOADED QUESTION RIGHT NOW.

>> I JUST WANT THE AUDIENCE TO LEAVE UPLIFTED. THE MESSAGE OF DISNEY SONGS IS ALREADY UPLIFTING. I WANT PEOPLE TO LEAVE HAPPY AND ENJOY THE CONCERT ENOUGH TO COME BACK A SECOND TIME. YEAH.

>> DEFINITELY TO FEEL CHANGED. IT'S EASY TO HAVE MUSIC -- I MEAN, MUSIC IS A LANGUAGE. SPOKEN WITH THE RIGHT INTENTION IT'S ABOUT HOW YOU FEEL AND HOW YOU PROJECT YOUR LOVE TO THE AUDIENCE, THEY'LL RECEIVE THE LOVE AND CAN TAKE THAT AWAY AND HAVE THEIR ENTIRE LIFE CHANGED. I KNOW OF STORIES. I HAVE MET PEOPLE WHO CAME TO ME IN DIFFERENT PERFORMANCE VENUES WHO SAID HOW MUCH THEY FEEL THAT WHERE, AGAIN, ALL IN YOUR HEAD PERFECTION. I HAVE TO GET THIS RIGHT. IT'S IMPORTANT TO DO YOUR BEST. BUT MOST IMPORTANT IS THE CONNECTION AND CHANGING PEOPLE'S PERSPECTIVES FOR SURE.

>> THANK YOU. AWESOME QUESTIONS. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I'M GOING TO WRAP THIS UP. SO WE CAN CLEAR THE STAGE, YOU CAN GET CENTERED AND WE CAN HAVE A FUN PERFORMANCE. WE FOLDED IT INTO THE SCHEDULE. PLENTY OF TIME FOR THAT. THANK YOU AGAIN FOR HANGING OUT WITH US. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR THE PERFORMANCE. CONGRATULATIONS ON THIS RECORD. I'LL REMIND THE WORLD THE TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE. TICKET INFORMATION AT DCAPPELLA LIVE.COM/TOUR. DON'T GO ANYWHERE IF YOU'RE WATCHING AT HOME. IN A FEW MINUTES, COMING UP LIVE ON STAGE, DCAPELLA, EVERYBODY. MAKE SOME NOISE. DO IT UP. [ APPLAUSE ]
