Shannon Coffey is an actor, writer, director and comedian living in New York City. Raised in Puerto Rico, Shannon moved to New York to pursue a career in comedy. Though her comedic roots have a strong UCB connection, having been on multiple Harold and Maude teams, Shannon has branched out in her own unique way as an online creator. After being listed multiple times on TVLine’s “What to Watch: 5 Web Series Worth Checking Out,” for her hit series Coffey Chat and later hosting The Hey Hey Show, Shannon developed a strong Youtube following acquiring over 100,000 subscribers. She also made some fans at NBC and was hired to write for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Shannon has since been a cast member on MTV shows Girl Code and Ladylike, and was tapped to host VH1’s The 20. Shannon can be seen performing stand up all around LA, pretty much anywhere there is a microphone and at That Annoying Comedy Show, her monthly standup show that she co-hosts with Rob Michael Hugel, creator of I Hate Being Single, the award winning show (that Shannon also stars in!) which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival for its second season.
